They were produced in several places, most of them were not specialized on cameras, but were furniture factories. The camera design did not change during the centuries, only material and processing varied.

My FKD was produced 1986 in Charkow, USSR (today Ukraine).
The lens is an Industar-51, produced in Kazan, USSR (today Russia, Republic of Tatarstan), by KOMZ with f4.5/210mm. It comes without shutter, exposure is done by opening the lens cap.
